Shipping
We only ship to the Continental US. Alaskan, Hawaiian and Canadian Customers please contact prior to purchase for correct shipping quote. Most items will have shipping quoted at time of purchase. Some items will be listed with a shipping estimate. The exact cost of shipping for that item will be quoted for you. Please contact us with your postal code for a quote on these items.
We ship within 48 hours via the most economical method. Most times we use FedEx though for smaller items, USPS is also used.
Some items will arrive disassembled to save on shipping costs. If we feel the piece needs additional explanation for assembly, we'll include instructions.
We cannot ship to PO boxes.
We do our best to package items carefully. We use recycled, up cycled, reused boxes newspaper and packaging material whenever possible. This does a couple of things: 1. Allows us to keep prices as low as possible. Yes, packaging is important but not if it jacks the price of the item up beyond reason. 2. It allows us to feel better about ourselves and our efforts to conserve resources. So we apologize up front for the crumpled up, month old newspaper or wine box that your order came in but if you're like us, you'll appreciate what the gesture represents.
Every once in a while our shipper does not see the value in our time and effort and damages an item. Please contact us if this occurs and we'll work with you and the shipper to ensure satisfaction. Please take photos of the damage and email them back to us. We'll take it from there.
Greyhound shipping may be available for some bulkier non fragile items. Greyhound ships to your local Greyhound Bus Terminal and tends to be an economical option. Greyhound does have some drawbacks, it may take up to 2 weeks for arrival and you'll have to pick up your item from the terminal. Greyhound does require a phone number (they call you when your item arrives).
Delivery, for a fee, may be available for addresses within 50 miles of New Canaan, CT. 06840. Please contact us for an exact quote.

Product Descriptions
Our items are in vintage condition. Most are at least 45 years old (some much older) and thus condition will reflect the items age. Some items will have wear and tear that keep with the items age which may include rust (I hope so, I love rust) minor dings, scratches etc. I’ll do my best to describe condition and not if there are any major issues that you need to be aware about.
Spiders may be included! We say this because we don't spend tons of time on cleaning items. Why? well because we don't want to ruin your fun, we don't want to assume you want the item to look brand new, we want to save you money (thus paying someone to spit shine each item takes value away from the purchase) and we don't want to risk ruining the patina or finish. Pictures show the item as they will be shipped.

Refunds & Exchanges
Refunds and Exchanges: Our vintage items are unique. We do our best to describe their condition including flaws, defects etc. We encourage questions and will do our best to give you all the information on an item. As many vintage sites, all sales are final with no returns / refunds. In some very special cases, we may allow exchanges. Exchanges are done at the discretion of VII and the buyer will pay for shipping both ways.
